Some of the recent happenings on the farm.

Jadyn taking a break from 'supervising'

One of the windstorms tore off some polycarbonate greenhouse panels.  At about the same time Steve and Travis replaced a bunch of patio doors at an apartment complex.  The glass from the doors were about the perfect size for the greenhouse panels so we replaced all the old polycarbonate panels with glass.  The plants love the additional sunlight and the greenhouse looks so much nicer.

We're going to use the leftover glass to make cold frames along the south side of the barn.

A La Mancha buck.  If all goes well we'll have baby goats running around this summer.

Some of our hens scratching around in the horses' hay.  We'll be ordering more chickens soon as our rooster disappeared along with several hens not too long ago.  One of the downsides to having truly free range chickens is ours like to go exploring and sometimes run into predators.

The guys took out an old tree next to the garden this past weekend, we'll be planting several trees elsewhere on the property to replace it.  We're hoping to plant some fruit trees as well!

If the weather cooperates we will plant these onion starts outside this weekend!
